All bookings and charges agreed are binding and form a contract between The Shipper and K C Courier Services.
It is the Shippers responsibility to book the correct vehicle for the job:
For example correct internal width / length / payload.
The Booker will be charged the full fee for the job if the incorrect vehicle is dispatched.
In case of job cancellation by the Shipper:
The full agreed fee must be paid if the vehicle has left the base / location where the Booking was agreed.
in the case of cancellation of advance specialist bookings by the Shipper:
Cancellations within 4 weeks will result in 50% of the booking fee being charged.
Cancellations within 2 weeks will result in 75% of the booking fee being charged.
Cancellations within 1 week will result in 100% ofthe booking fee being charged.
All mileage rates are calculated from our Base, SG1 5SG, and are one way only unless agreed otherwise.
All fees are to be paid by the method agreed at the time of Booking.
Payments are accepted via Bank Transfer / Cheque / Cash.
Interest will be added to any late payments.
£60.00 plus Tolls & Fees if applicable.
Minimum Charge for Central London:
£120.00 plus Congestion Charge & Fees if applicable.
Our out of hours charges are from 18.00hrs - 06.00hrs:
Extra charges will be appplied at the time of Booking if applicable.
Will be made for Deliveries / Collections made on a Saturday or Sunday.
Fees will be agreed at the time of Booking.
20 mins. Waiting Time to be loaded / unloaded is included in the agreed fee.
After 20 mins. Waiting Time is charged at £25.00 per hour or part of plus expenses and will be added to the final invoice.
Wait and return charges:
A charge of half the original fee will be added to the invoice plus waiting time if our drivers
have to wait to collect goods and return.
Additional Deliveries / Collections on route back to base:
Additional Deliveries or collections will be charged from £25.00 each if they are on our route back to base plus tolls and charges if applicable.
All prices quoted do NOT include:
Congestion Charges / Road Tolls / Bridge Tolls to allow us to deliver / collect your goods and will be added to your invoice if applicable.
Our Drivers will use the fastest direct routes to deliver your goods.
If you require our drivers to avoid the above tolls and charges to get to your place of delivery / collection (For example the M6 Toll) please inform us when making your booking.
Any Parking Charges / additional costs will also be added to the final invoice if applicable.
The Shipper is responsible for:
Arranging the labour and equipment required to load / Unload / transport goods in the vehicle and will cover any costs.
For example: Forklifts / Hoists,/ Packaging / Pallets / Containers / Trolleys / Racking etc.
All goods must be Clean and not of a Hazardous Nature.
All goods must be packaged for transit:
The client must package all goods to prevent damage in transit.
We provide straps and blankets for extra protection only.
All packaging / pallets / trolleys/ containers / racking:
Provided by the client for the transportation of their goods remain the property of the client and must remain on site at their destination with the clients delivered goods.
Extra charges will be made
For returning any of the above transportation aids.
In the case of goods that have to be returned to the client if they can not be delivered.
For example, no one is available to take delivery, a charge will be made for the return of goods to the client.
Our drivers,on behalf of our company, reserve the right to refuse to transport goods.
Under ECC Regulations Drivers are only permitted to lift 25kg without assistance.
